NRP for West Somerset Gala

New Romney Productions is pleased to announce a return visit to the West Somerset Railway for their mega Spring Steam Gala.

This will be a good chance to experience a WSR Gala first hand. This year's event celebrates 35 years of the West Somerset Railway operating trains over the former Taunton to Minehead branch, which last ran under the control of British Rail.

30777 "Sir Lamiel" takes the place of the unavailable L.M.S. "Princess Royal" class Pacific No.46201 "Princess Elizabeth".

7812 "Earlstoke Manor" makes her visit, courtesy of the Severn Valley Railway.

34046 "Braunton" is to stay at the railway until may 2011, so this and other events nearer the time, may well be its last runs on the West Somerset Railway before it begins running on the mainline. It is owned by Jeremy Hosking.

5553 is owned by Pete Waterman, but on permanent loan to the West Somerset.

5521 is owned by Bill Parker, this locomotive has had spells working on the mainlines in Poland and Eastern Europe.

We look forward to making this programme.
